DINER64
A Slice of Americana
Step inside, and you'll find yourself transported to a bygone era. Cherry-red vinyl booths line the windows, each paired with a formica table topped with vintage aluminum trim. The counter, stretching the length of the diner, features classic swivel stools where regulars perch for their morning coffee and evening pie. Behind it, waitresses in crisp uniforms keep the coffee flowing and the conversation warm.
Our menu is a celebration of classic American comfort food. The griddle, seasoned by decades of use, turns out perfectly crispy hash browns and fluffy pancakes the size of hubcaps. Our blue plate specials change daily, featuring hearty portions of meatloaf, country-fried steak, and pot roast that taste just like grandma used to make. The pie case, a rotating showcase of homemade delights, tempts patrons with mile-high meringues and flaky fruit-filled crusts.
Open 24 hours, 7 days a week, Diner 64 has been a constant presence for over six decades. Whether you're a trucker needing a hot meal at 3 AM, a family on a cross-country adventure, or a local looking for your regular morning fix, our lights are always on and our coffee is always fresh.
Find us at Mile Marker 147 on Route 64 – just look for the vintage neon sign and listen for the friendly chatter of satisfied customers. As we like to say, "Where the coffee's always hot and the welcome's even warmer."
